kate update

I know I need to write in here more so I can keep track of Kate's milestones. Then maybe when I look at other blogs I won't feel like she is such a "baby." I know there are lots of reasons for her "baby-ness" (mainly ME!!!!!) and probably her Nai Nai!!! :)  But, being the youngest of five, she is definately pampered, so I guess I shouldn't expect her to be like all the other babies I'm looking at......

Anyway....I think her favorite word right now is "zipper."  She walks around saying it to herself. This morning she kept unzipping the zipper on my robe and saying "zipper."

She loves the song "Itsy Bitsy Spider." She has a toy that plays the song and she will push the button to do the motions all by herself. It's very cute, I got it on video.

She is a little parrot and can say pretty much anything....which I suppose is dangerous!! Her latest is "geesh" which I have found I apparently say WAY more than I realized!!

We have to keep the house pretty much on lock down all the time. I have a gate in the laundry room doorway to keep her out of the litterbox. We keep the bathroom door shut. We keep Regan's bedroom door shut and my bedroom door shut. If any door is ever left open she seems to have radar (it's amazing!) We are having to keep the cabinet under the kitchen sink locked now (weren't before.) She really likes the little dishwasher tabs!! She loves the tupperware cabinet. It was cute the first gazillion times. I'm over the cuteness!!

Yesterday Regan said "she is so fun!!"  It made me smile.

We are so amazingly blessed!!!!! After such a long wait, I know God's timing was perfect.
