moving along

The one great thing about homeschooling is we get to prolong childhood a bit. Like Jack STILL loves Thomas the Tank Engine and Veggie Tales......and he will be eight in October. But there is nobody to tell him how "stupid" and "babyish" those things are. Really, a lot of the conversations in both are pretty higher level. Ron and I are *amazed* at the details he picks out of the videos....things we, as adults, would never notice. Like the fact that Larry Boy is carved into Olaf's viking ship....who knew!?

Anyway....the song...."Oh yes, it's great To be an engine And go steaming along, Puff puff puffing along, Peep peep peeping along......."

It's STUCK in my head!!!!  That is the stage we are FINALLY at with Quinn's adoption. And PRAYERFULLY we will keep steaming along.

Things go between embassies now. Actually we are at the American National Visa center. Then will be cabled to the American Embassy in China, then wait 2 weeks. Once approved go to the Chinese Embassy. Wait 2 weeks and then should be issued TRAVEL APPROVAL.

TRAVEL!!!!!!!! I am estimating right around mid-August.

Barring any unforseen complications  :)
