Kate's Birthday

A very late 5th birthday post for Kate. I'm amazed she is 5 already! 

Her birthday is March 6th. We went to a Chinese Bakery in Cleveland to get her a special Chinese cake.

It had fruit on the inside also.

She kind of liked it.

In general she really didn't care for her birthday. Which can be common for internationally adopted children. Her gotcha day is coming up, but we are just going to skip it. Her birthday totally threw her for a loop. She was up one night until almost 3. Her sleeping was off for a week. Behavior the same. Potty accidents. Food issues. She is definitely a child of calm and routine. She likes quiet and security.

So her five year old stats.....

39 inches tall

31 pounds

3T clothing

Size 7 shoe

Favorite food: noodles 

Drink: yuk (pediasure)

Snack:Chinese crackers

And.....no way she is NOT going to kindergarten in the fall!!

A. We homeschool.

B. With her preemie delays she is not close to ready! (and mom's not either!)
