My poor kids have been so sick. Jack has been sick since Wednesday. Regan ended up sick Friday and Kate got sick somewhere in there. They have had Type A flu and Strep Throat. It has NOT been fun in this house!!!
Plus I think I just heard a mouse trap go off in the garage (little side note....yeah!) There are shelves on the wall up against my bedroom wall and I think (hope) Ron just trapped a disgusting mouse!
Anyway, back to the sick kids. They didn't eat for days. I actually kind of got used to not cooking, which was kind of nice. Jack lived on purple grape juice for 2 days. Then he finally ate 1/2 a waffle and about a third of a hot dog on Saturday. Kate lived on formula and yogurt milk for a couple of days. Regan was eating frozen gogurts.
Amazingly the big boys did not get sick. I have no idea how they have managed to escape the sickness, unless they are going to wake up sick tomorrow!
Kate still has a nasty cough. It is making it really hard for her (and me) to sleep. I don't know what to do for her. Thursday night I slept with her on the couch, but that hasn't worked again. She is NOT a co-sleeper at all. I wish she were.
Hopefully they'll be a bit better tomorrow. It has been a slow recovery. I am all for the flu shots next year, this has stunk!!!!!
