So....we celebrated Kate's 2.5 year old birthday last week.
Mainly because, well...she might be two and a half...or she might be two...or she might be a preemie...or whatever!!! Thankfully we homeschool....and well....whatever!!! What happened with the cake leads me to believe she is probably closer to 2 than 3...which is just fine with me cause we love having our baby!!!! She's already doing enough other big girl stuff that a little "baby" is ok by me!
She started out innocently enough...delicately picking off m&m's....I handed over the camera and got behind the chair to be photographed with her.
Yikes!!! She dug in and before we knew it half the cake was gone!! We didn't even get a picture of me with her with the cake!!!
However, in my shock, I did not react quickly enough, and she picked up the cake and finished it off!! (you can see Regan in the background giving 2 thumbs up!)
My children...being the warped children they are...did NOT want to miss out on the cake they had been waiting patiently all day for!!! They grabbed plates and you can see what they did!!
Kate's opinion??? YUM!!! Which she told us.....REPEATEDLY!!!

She is so stinkin' sweet, she can do whatever she wants with her bd cakes! Just gotta remember to have a backup one from now on :-)
