This actually started out as a joke, but Kate did amazingly well with the "cheater" chopsticks.
Yes...I do think it's genetic!!! :)
The reason the child is so small may possibly be because all she eats is noodles!! (and watermelon!)
She actually was quite a sport and stuck it out the whole meal with those chopsticks...we were pretty amazed! Ron thinks she "grew up that way in China" (yea...ok...we are pretty sure she didn't have solid food before we got her...but maybe.....)
I think it's genetic......
But wait...this is really what you see in China....

Thank you for your nice comment on my blog. Your Kate is adorable! I had to giggle about her schedule and what happened when she got off...we've been there too and it's not fun.
