Today the 4 older kids and I went with Nai Nai to see the movie "Hop." It was a very cute movie, and I would recommend it for families....no embarrassing parts at all (I don't think!) I did leave to get popcorn and miss a jellybean part....so maybe one thing!
While we were doing that, Ron took Kate up to visit Grandpa Cole...all alone!!! That is the first time Ron has taken Kate all alone all the way to Grandpa's! I was a little nervous. Grandpa lives an hour away. And Kate isn't used to being all by herself in the car for that long. Then she was there with (no) little...distracted...ugh....Grandpa and Ron's supervision! She made it home in one piece!!! I guess I'm a bit of a control freak!!! Ron has taken the other kids up to his dad's lots of times. When his mom was alive he took the kids all the time. I often had MOPS things going on, or was still working at the pool (when he would take Mitchell.) Sometimes I just did our grocery shopping and it was a nice break (and Grandma got free reign with the kiddos!) Anyway....new territory today....Ron took my baby and we all survived! Phew!! :)
