Day 8!

How fun! We are featured on Day 8 of "The 24 Days of Giving" Blog!

Also fun, we are sharing the day with the Thompson family, who's blog I have been following. They have gotten their travel approvel and will be going to China SOON...really SOON!!! Their "dad" is also a history teacher (although retired now) and they live in NW PA....so not that far away!

Anyway, when I had time to finally sit today with the computer, and clicked on the 24 Days of Giving to go read about the family of the day, I was quite surprised!! I really should have done a better job when I wrote about us!! Really I wrote NOTHING!!

I have been asked to write out our "adoption story" by a friend. I need to work on that. I suppose the story is different for me than for Ron...even though we are a family, we did arrive at adoption in different ways. I guess writing that is a "goal" for me over the next few weeks.

Things are winding down after our busy day.....

And I am ANXIOUSLY awaiting pictures from a family who is in China right now bringing home their son. They were at our orphanage and took pics the other day.

I have been obsessively checking my email since 5AM to see if Miss Quinn was among the photographed!!!!!
