I have nothing!

There is little to nothing to blog about here! I guess that could be seen as a good thing. The weather has been cold and rainy, so we haven't really done anything exciting outdoors (or indoors for that matter!)

We've just had the usual stuff! Mitchell continues with his gymnastics (3 nights a week and all Saturday afternoon.)

They all go to AWANA on Wednesday night. I stay home with Kate and do...nothing! Well...sometimes dishes and laundry, but a lot of times just play with Kate!

Mason has been going to an "official" Pokemon Club on Tuesday nights. He enjoys that (and it's free! yay!) It meets at a local putt putt golf place and I guess they do "battles" with pokemon decks of cards...it's a card game or something.

Regan...baton...of course!

Regan, Mason and Jack have been doing a homeschool gymnastics class once a week. I doubt we'll continue with it. It's ok, but they aren't that interested in it. They like Emeth better. So, we'll probably head back out there at some point.

Oh...and Mason and Regan are doing flag football with the Upward Program. I just can't say enough about the upward program, it is great! I think Regan has had fun, although she probably could take it or leave it. Mason, of course, is going to be in the NFL.

Kate is doing a gymnastics class at Lakeshore on Friday nights when Mitchell has gymnastics. She LOVES it. And she's pretty funny at it, too. Most of the time she just follows everybody around here. She is in "destructo" two and a half year old mode right now. So, it is nice to see her actually focused and doing something.

No news on the adoption front. I did speak to CHI yesterday. Mike said my goal to have things in by the first of the year are not overly ambitious. So, hopefully I can get that done. I think the worst part is being at the *beginning* of the path and seeing the whole list with nothing checked off yet! There is so much to do, how I possibly did it all last time is amazing!?

Yesterday was Ron's birthday. I made my first cake from scratch EVER. Mainly because I was too lazy to go to the store and BUY a cake. I think it turned out pretty good. The cake was kind of heavy (from the betty crocker cookbook.) The frosting was KILLER :) Yum!

Love that picture! Such a determined look :-) Congratulations on the cake...thought total "homemade" was a thing of the past. Ron should have been honored!! This check list will be filled in before you know it. Praying...

Sounds like a busy house with lots of great things going on. The time to get everything together for the adoption will fly by and before you know it, it will be the first of the year.

Congrats on the cake! I bet it was delish!!
