You will have the opportunity to meet lots of other families like ours who have chosen to step out in faith and bring another child into their family through international adoption.
Our family
was very clearly led to adopt our sixth child (second adoption from China)
at the end of August 2011. We were shown her picture on an advocate list...again, and again, and again!!! Finally we followed the prompting (from the Holy Spirit!) and began the (very unexpected) process of her adoption!
We MUST raise funds for her adoption, as we had believed our family to be complete, we were not financially "planning" for another adoption. We do fully believe the Lord has led us to this adoption, so we also believe HE will bring forth those who have a heart for bringing home sons and daughters from orphanages around the world, and they will help to financially support us in bringing our sweet daughter home!
We are unable to share photos of our baby until we finalize her adoption in China. She turned 13 months old on October 9th and is in a social welfare institute near Shanghai. She is a special focus child and is listed as "special needs."
We have been pre-approved to adopt her, and have 6 months to submit our dossier to China, which would be March 20th. I am praying to have it in sooner!!
