A couple of weeks ago my brother came and put in a whole line of pipe through our yard. It is something we have been "planning" to do for years. Our yard was once a farmer's field and had a very inadequate tile running through it to the Chagrin River. Could it have been the cause of the "great flood" in February? Maybe.... although there were so many random factors that terrible night/day....I don't think we'll EVER know!!!!
We were never in any great hurry to do it, because never once in all the 28 years here did we get water in our basement.
But getting close to 2 feet in about half an hour will do something to you....forever!!!!
Everyone was here to watch...help....get in on the action.....
It took Uncle Blair and Ron all of a Saturday and part of a Sunday to lay all the pipe from the road to the back corner of the property.
Let it RAIN!

Great pictures of the process...but please remove "let it rain"!! I wondered who to blame for this past wet week!!!!
